It’s probably because Australian conventions aren’t as big as US ones but I’ve never had issues with illness after one. Having said that I’ll probably catch something at the next one.

Actually, at most of the cons I’ve been to, a hazmat suit would fit right in. Just tell people it’s from some obscure comic or anime they’ve never heard of. Nobody will question it.
