You ever checked out Clients From Hell? From experience, I can tell you most of those stories probably aren’t exaggerations.
Oh, Clients From Hell. Never been there before, but I know the type.
A current local (to me) example:
A highways project is set to take a year to complete, and all traffic will need to be rerouted through local roads for the duration. The residents are naturally upset about this disruption and have petitioned their MP to do something about it. He wants the government to match the current cost in order to effectively halve the duration. Not sure exactly how he imagines the crew are going to halve the bad weather days that were factored into the initial duration estimate, but hey ho. Money expediates everything, right?
